Where To Watch The Drop

The Drop follows Bob Saginowski, a quiet Brooklyn bartender whose seemingly ordinary life becomes entangled in organized crime after the bar where he works is used as a temporary “drop” location for illegal cash. When the bar is robbed, Bob finds himself caught between dangerous criminals, suspicious investigators and the complicated history of his cousin Marv, the bar's former owner. While Bob attempts to keep his distance from the criminal world, his discovery of an abandoned puppy introduces him to Nadia, creating a rare emotional connection in an otherwise violent environment. At the same time, the increasingly threatening Eric Deeds brings the neighborhood's darker secrets back to the surface. The film slowly transforms from a seemingly simple crime story into a tense character study about loyalty, guilt, identity, betrayal and redemption. Tom Hardy's understated performance as Bob is particularly important—the character's quiet nature hides far more determination than the people around him initially realize.
