More details about Uncharted and where you can watch

Uncharted features several fascinating details that make it special for both movie lovers and video game fans. The film is based on Sony’s popular PlayStation video game franchise, which first introduced Nathan Drake to players in 2007. Interestingly, Nolan North, who originally voiced Nathan Drake in the games, makes a special cameo in the movie, creating a connection between the gaming world and the big screen. The famous cargo-plane sequence was inspired by one of the most memorable action levels from Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Another interesting detail is that Mark Wahlberg was initially considered for the role of Nathan Drake during the film’s early development but eventually played Victor Sullivan. The movie also took more than a decade to reach cinemas because of multiple changes in directors, writers, and production plans. Additionally, the story draws inspiration from the historical expedition of Ferdinand Magellan, blending real historical references with fictional treasure-hunting adventures. These hidden details make Uncharted an exciting tribute to the original gaming franchise while delivering its own cinematic adventure.
