Where To Watch Rise of the Guardians

More details about Rise of the Guardians and where you can watch

Rise of the Guardians is inspired by William Joyce’s book series The Guardians of Childhood, which gives familiar childhood legends a magical new history. Interestingly, Santa Claus, known as North in the movie, is portrayed as a powerful warrior with tattoos and swords rather than a traditional gift-giver. The Tooth Fairy collects children’s baby teeth because they contain precious childhood memories, while Sandy, the Sandman, communicates entirely through magical golden sand without speaking a single word.

Another fascinating detail is that Jack Frost represents fun, freedom, and imagination, making his journey about discovering his true identity and purpose. The villain, Pitch Black, is inspired by the legendary Boogeyman and uses nightmares to destroy children’s belief in magic. The mysterious Man in the Moon also never speaks throughout the movie, despite being responsible for selecting the Guardians. With its unique interpretation of folklore, beautiful animation, and emotional storytelling, the film delivers a powerful message about believing in yourself and embracing what makes you different.
