Noor is an ordinary-looking young man with an extraordinary problem: after more than a decade of isolated training, he has mastered the defensive technique known as “Parry” to an absurd level—but he doesn't realize just how powerful he has become. When Noor arrives in the Kingdom of Clays, he becomes caught up in an assassination attempt against Princess Lynneburg “Lynne” Clays and a much larger political crisis involving neighboring kingdoms. The fun of Season 1 comes from the contrast between Noor's incredible abilities and his complete lack of awareness about them. While everyone around him gradually realizes that his seemingly simple defensive technique is ridiculously powerful, Noor continues to believe that he is merely an underqualified adventurer trying to improve himself.
