ack Shack takes viewers back to Nebraska City in the summer of 1991, where two inseparable teenage friends, A.J. Carter (Conor Sherry) and Moose Miller (Gabriel LaBelle), are always looking for exciting ways to make money. Their latest business adventure begins when they get the chance to operate a rundown snack shack at their local swimming pool. Initially, the boys see this opportunity as their ticket to becoming rich. However, their summer takes an unexpected turn when they meet Brooke (Mika Abdalla), an attractive and confident lifeguard whose arrival changes their friendship and creates new romantic complications. As A.J. and Moose try to manage their small business, they experience jealousy, competition, teenage romance and the realities of growing up. Their friendship is tested as they discover that money, relationships and personal ambitions can sometimes create unexpected problems.
