Did You Know
The film was originally written and nearly released in the mid-1990s with Chris Farley a beloved comedian and friend of Adam Sandler in one of the main roles. Production was shelved after Farley’s death in 1997, and the project was put on hold for over a decade before Sandler revived it with a new cast. Many viewers are surprised to learn the movie’s concept goes back far earlier and was intended as a tribute to Farley’s comedic legacy before becoming the 2010 hit we know today.
