Set before the events of Insidious and Insidious: Chapter 2, the film follows Quinn Brenner, a young girl grieving her mother’s death. Desperate for closure, she attempts to communicate with the spirit world and unknowingly summons a dangerous entity known as the Man Who Can’t Breathe. As the haunting escalates, Quinn becomes physically and mentally trapped by the supernatural force. Elise Rainier, initially reluctant due to past trauma, is drawn back into the world of spirits to save Quinn. With help from Specs and Tucker, Elise confronts her fear and re-enters The Further. The film blends emotional storytelling with intense supernatural horror and deepens Elise’s origin story.
