Following the collapse of peace between humans and apes, Caesar’s colony is attacked by a fanatical human force led by The Colonel. Consumed by grief and guilt, Caesar embarks on a dangerous quest for revenge, leaving his tribe vulnerable. Captured and enslaved, the apes are forced to build a massive wall for human survival. As Caesar confronts The Colonel, he learns that humanity is destroying itself due to a mutated virus that removes speech and intelligence. In a final act of selflessness, Caesar leads his people to freedom but succumbs to his wounds after ensuring their safety. The film ends with the apes reaching a promised land, symbolizing hope born from sacrifice.
