In The Woman in the Yard, Ramona (Danielle Deadwyler) lives a fragile life after a tragic car accident that claimed her husband’s life and left her physically injured. While raising her teenage son Taylor and young daughter Annie, she tries to keep her household safe and emotionally intact. Their peaceful rural existence is disrupted when a mysterious, veiled woman dressed entirely in black appears quietly in their front yard, ominously declaring “today’s the day.” Initially dismissed as lost or unstable, the woman’s presence becomes increasingly sinister as she edges closer to the family home and strange phenomena including threats to their beloved dog begin to occur. Ramona must face both the external menace and her own inner turmoil to protect her children.
