More details about School Spirits Season 2 and where you can watch

Season 2 begins with three episodes released on the same day, January 30, 2025, before moving to a weekly schedule. The season’s eight episode titles include playful supernatural wordplay such as “Field of Screams,” “Can’t Hauntly Wait,” “Ghost Pointe Blank” and “Fire, Talk to Me.”

A particularly interesting development is that the story isn’t simply about solving Maddie’s disappearance anymore. Season 2 introduces a larger mystery involving Split River High’s mysterious “scars,” the school’s history and the connection between different supernatural events.

The series was created by Nate Trinrud and Megan Trinrud and is based on their graphic novel project with illustrator Maria Nguyen. Paramount+ also notes that Oliver Goldstick, known for work including Pretty Little Liars and Bridgerton, serves as showrunner and executive producer.

Did You Know

School Spirits has a clever connection to graphic novels rather than being adapted from an existing television franchise. The original story was developed by Nate Trinrud and Megan Trinrud, with Maria Nguyen illustrating the graphic novel. This gives the series its distinctive combination of teen mystery, supernatural investigation and comic-book-style storytelling.
