Where To Watch Queer

Set in 1950s Mexico City, Queer follows William Lee, played by Daniel Craig, an American expatriate living a lonely, alcohol- and drug-fueled existence among a small community of Americans. His routine changes when he meets Eugene Allerton (Drew Starkey), a younger former soldier whose presence awakens Lee's desire for intimacy and genuine human connection. Their complicated relationship takes them from Mexico City toward an increasingly surreal journey into the jungle, where obsession, vulnerability and self-discovery collide. The film combines Guadagnino's atmospheric visual style with a more experimental approach to romance and identity. Daniel Craig's William Lee is far removed from his iconic James Bond persona, giving the actor an unusually vulnerable and emotionally exposed role.
