Introducing new characters and wild battles, the revival delivers the same outrageous tone that made the original a cult classic.

New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt picks up many years after the 2010 anime, with Panty and Stocking once again called to battle grotesque Ghosts in the bizarre metropolis of Daten City. With guidance from the funky preacher Garterbelt and help from old friend Brief, the Anarchy Sisters fight to collect “Heaven Coins” that can restore their status. In Season 2, new characters angel brothers Polyester and Polyurethane arrive with high-tech gear and mysterious motives that challenge the sisters’ chaotic style. The season retains its signature blend of frantic animation, adult humor, and genre-mashing antics while pushing deeper into character dynamics and supernatural stakes. Originally announced at Anime Expo 2022, the Season 2 revival finally aired from July 9 to September 24, 2025 and streams globally on Prime Video.
