One of the most interesting aspects of Outcry is its five-episode structure: instead of presenting the case as a straightforward crime story, the documentary progressively examines the investigation, conviction, legal challenges and questions surrounding the case. The episodes range from about 57 minutes to just over an hour, giving the filmmakers considerable room to reconstruct the story.
The series was directed by Pat Kondelis, who also wrote the first episode. The production was released as a Showtime Original in 2020.

Films that twist perception and push your mind to the edge.
Stories that challenge your thoughts and make you rethink everything.
Movies that feel like drifting through a vivid, cinematic dream.
Genres Covered
Warm, uplifting stories filled with joy, comfort, and feel-good moments.
Root for the unlikely heroes who rise, fight, and win against the odds.
Cinematic journeys that explore life, existence, and the universe itself.
Outcry isn’t simply about whether viewers believe one side of a disputed case. Its unusual approach is to make the process of questioning the original investigation itself a major part of the story.
