Trish and Darry Jenner are driving home from college when they encounter a strange truck relentlessly tailgating them. Later, they witness its driver dumping what appears to be bodies into an underground pipe near an abandoned church. Against better judgment, Darry investigates and discovers a horrifying secret. Soon, the siblings are stalked by a supernatural creature known as the Creeper, which awakens every 23 years to feed on humans. As the chase intensifies, they seek help from the police and locals, but escape proves nearly impossible. The film reveals the Creeper’s terrifying nature piece by piece, ending with a bleak reminder that some evils cannot be reasoned with or stopped.
