In Hell’s Paradise, elite ninja Gabimaru awaits execution but survives every method used against him, revealing his inner conflict and attachment to life. The shogunate offers him a pardon if he retrieves the legendary Elixir of Life from Shinsenkyo, a mysterious island where previous expeditions ended in horrific deaths. Gabimaru joins other condemned criminals, each paired with an executioner from the Yamada Asaemon clan. Upon arrival, they discover a nightmarish land filled with immortal beings, twisted flora, and godlike entities known as the Tensen. As alliances crumble and violence escalates, Gabimaru must confront his past and redefine his purpose while fighting to survive a place where paradise is actually hell.
