Where To Watch Fullmetal Alchemist

Set in the fictional nation of Amestris, Fullmetal Alchemist follows two gifted brothers, Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric, whose lives change forever after attempting the forbidden act of human transmutation to bring their deceased mother back to life. The experiment fails catastrophically—Edward loses his left leg, while Alphonse loses his entire body. In a desperate attempt to save his brother, Edward sacrifices his right arm to bind Alphonse's soul to a towering suit of armor. Equipped with advanced automail prosthetic limbs and carrying the title of the youngest State Alchemist in history, Edward embarks on a dangerous journey alongside Alphonse to find the legendary Philosopher's Stone, believing it can restore what they lost. Along the way, they encounter loyal allies like Winry Rockbell, the brilliant automail engineer, Roy Mustang, the ambitious Flame Alchemist, Riza Hawkeye, Maes Hughes, and mysterious enemies including Scar, Lust, Gluttony, Envy, and other deadly Homunculi. Unlike the manga, the 2003 anime gradually branches into its own original storyline, delivering darker themes, philosophical questions about sacrifice and morality, and an emotional ending that has remained one of anime's most memorable conclusions.
