At the prestigious Chaehwa Girls' High School, academic success is treated almost like survival. Woo Seul-gi (Chung Su-bin), a girl who grew up in an orphanage, transfers into the elite school and immediately finds herself surrounded by wealthy, highly competitive students. Her arrival attracts the attention of Yoo Je-yi (Lee Hye-ri), the school's brilliant and seemingly perfect top student. What initially looks like friendship gradually becomes something far more complicated. Je-yi's fascination with Seul-gi, the jealousy of Joo Ye-ri (Kang Hye-won) and the hostility of Choi Kyung (Oh Woo-ri) pull Seul-gi into a dangerous web of rivalry, secrets and emotional manipulation. At the same time, Seul-gi is investigating the mystery surrounding her father, Yoo Tae-joon, whose connection to the Korean college entrance-exam system adds another layer to the story.
