The Watchers follows Mina (Dakota Fanning), a young American artist living in Ireland who becomes lost when her car breaks down in a dense, untouched forest. Seeking assistance, Mina discovers a hidden bunker occupied by three strangers who have also been trapped there for months. Each night, unknown and unseen creatures. The titular “Watchers” stalk anyone outside the sanctuary. The group survives by obeying strict rules, especially avoiding the dark forest where the Watchers roam. As tensions rise and fear grows, the survivors grapple with their psychological limits while trying to understand the creatures’ nature. Directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan and adapted from A.M. Shine’s novel, the film delivers eerie visuals and a slow-burn horror experience set against the haunting beauty of the Irish wilderness.
