More details about The First Purge (2018) and where you can watch

Before the Purge became national law, the New Founding Fathers tested the idea in a small community. Staten Island is selected as the experiment zone, where all crime is legal for one night. While many residents choose not to participate, government-hired mercenaries secretly incite violence to make the experiment appear successful. Nya, her brother Isaiah, and gang leader Dmitri struggle to protect their neighborhood as the night turns deadly. As chaos spreads, the truth behind the Purge is exposed: it was never about reducing crime, but about eliminating the poor and marginalized. The film shows the terrifying origins of legalized violence in America.
