Tina Shepard accidentally releases Jason Voorhees from the bottom of Crystal Lake while attempting to resurrect her deceased father using her telekinetic powers. Jason immediately resumes his murderous rampage, targeting a group of partying teens and anyone who crosses his path. As bodies pile up, Tina begins to realize her powers may be the only way to stop the unstoppable killer. With guidance from her manipulative doctor and her growing inner strength, Tina confronts Jason in a climactic supernatural battle. In the finale, Tina summons her father’s spirit, which drags Jason back into the lake, once again imprisoning him beneath the water though never permanently.
