Where To Watch Zero Dark Thirty

Following the September 11 attacks, the CIA begins an extensive international search for al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. At the center of the investigation is Maya, played by Jessica Chastain, a highly determined intelligence analyst who spends years following leads, studying connections and persuading senior officials to take her findings seriously. As the investigation progresses, Maya works alongside Dan (Jason Clarke), a CIA officer involved in interrogations, and other intelligence personnel who gradually piece together the identity of a trusted courier linked to bin Laden. Her persistence eventually directs attention toward a heavily guarded compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. With uncertainty still surrounding the target's identity, Maya's intelligence becomes central to the decision to launch a covert nighttime operation. Directed by Kathryn Bigelow and written by Mark Boal, Zero Dark Thirty combines political drama, investigative suspense and military action to portray the lengthy, complex hunt that culminated in the May 2011 raid.

More details about Zero Dark Thirty and where you can watch

Zero Dark Thirty was originally planned under the title Kill Bin Laden, but the screenplay changed after Osama bin Laden was killed in May 2011. The final title refers to military slang associated with the dark hours of the night.
The filmmakers built a detailed replica of bin Laden’s compound in Jordan to recreate the final raid realistically. Some scenes were also filmed in Chandigarh, India, which doubled for locations in Pakistan.
Jessica Chastain’s character, Maya, is a fictionalized representation of intelligence personnel involved in the investigation rather than a direct portrayal of one individual. The film combines real historical events with dramatized conversations and scenes.
The movie sparked controversy over its portrayal of torture and intelligence gathering, prompting debate about historical accuracy. Despite the controversy, it received five Academy Award nominations and won Best Sound Editing.
