Hop is a live-action/animated family comedy that follows E.B., the teenage son of the legendary Easter Bunny. E.B. is expected to eventually take over his family's enormous Easter operation, but he has completely different ambitions: he dreams of becoming a professional drummer. Determined to escape his responsibilities, E.B. travels to Los Angeles, where he accidentally crosses paths with Fred O'Hare, an unemployed man who is struggling to figure out his own future. After Fred accidentally hits E.B. with his car, the mischievous rabbit manipulates him into providing a place to stay. Their unlikely friendship becomes increasingly complicated when trouble begins back on Easter Island. Carlos, an ambitious chick working within the Easter operation, sees an opportunity to take control, forcing E.B. to decide whether he will continue chasing his personal dream or accept his responsibility to his family.
