Where To Watch Distant (2024)

Distant (2024), later released as Long Distance, is a sci-fi survival adventure that combines alien-world danger with unexpected comedy and human connection. The story follows Andy Ramirez (Anthony Ramos), an asteroid miner whose spacecraft crash-lands on a mysterious alien planet. Stranded far from Earth, Andy has limited oxygen, unfamiliar terrain, dangerous creatures surrounding him, and very little idea of what the planet is hiding. Andy soon discovers that he may not be completely alone. Naomi Calloway (Naomi Scott) is trapped inside an escape pod somewhere on the planet, and the two survivors are forced to communicate from a distance while Andy attempts to reach her. Complicating the journey is L.E.O.N.A.R.D., an artificial-intelligence survival system voiced by Zachary Quinto, whose personality and questionable usefulness add a humorous dimension to Andy's increasingly dangerous mission.
