More details about My Fault: London and where you can watch

My Fault: London is much more than a simple London remake. It is the English-language adaptation of the first novel in Spanish author Mercedes Ron’s bestselling Culpables trilogy, originally published as Culpa Mía. Amazon describes the movie as a British adaptation of that first book.

The movie is also a remake of the 2023 Spanish film Culpa Mía. Instead of simply dubbing or reshooting the original, the production created a new English-language version with a British cast and a London-centered setting.

Interestingly, although the story is called London, filming was not limited to London. Production locations included Tenerife in the Canary Islands, as well as Brands Hatch racing circuit in Kent and the Royal Harbour Approach Tunnel in Ramsgate.

Did You Know

My Fault: London actually began as a book before becoming a Spanish movie and then an English-language adaptation? Mercedes Ron’s Culpa Mía is the first book in the Culpables trilogy, followed by Culpa Tuya and Culpa Nuestra. The London film therefore represents another version of a story that had already made the jump from book to Spanish cinema.
